The FDA did it again with another blood pressure drug recall. This time it’s for the popular drug called Valsartan.
The reason: more evidence of the pills contains the known cancer-causing toxic chemical called NDEA.
The FDA claims this is “contamination” but this drug recall is so widespread across companies and different drugs, it begs the question: is there more to this story?
How common is this “contamination”? And how accidental is it? Would drug companies benefit from you getting cancer?
Cancer is a big business, which is treated with a lot of drugs… (unless you know that chemo kills more than it saves, but that’s another post).
But why risk it? There are numerous natural ways to treat blood pressure and many experts that say too many people are being treated without real benefits…except for pharmaceutical companies of course. (1,2)
In fact, the 2017 change in guidelines lowering the blood pressure target meant hundreds of thousands of new patients told they might die if not drugged with blood pressure medications. A huge win for the pharmaceutical companies and their lobby. And as one might expect, there was controversy surrounding the new guidelines as those who voted also consulted for drug companies selling blood pressure medications. (2)
These are the same drugs that have now created one of the largest recalls in the past decade.
Why not dump the drugs and focus on proven lifestyle changes that work without a potential cancer risk?
It’s up to you to protect your health…from those that profit off you being sick.
